Josephine’s is committed to Aveda mission and is proud to partner with Green Circle Salons, which is a comprehensive recycling/reuse program that will help us to significantly reduce our environmental impact on the planet. The program helps us to redirect out of water streams and landfills everything once considered as garbage: hair, foils, color tubes, paper, plastics, and liquid chemical waste (most salons today simply rinse all leftover liquid chemicals into the sink and down the drain). In 2022, Green Circle Salons kept 1,358,102 pounds of beauty waste and PPE from landfills and waterways! The Green Circle Salons program offsets all the carbon created by a salon, creating true carbon neutrality. “When a guest visits a Green Circle Salons certified Salon to look beautiful, they can also feel great knowing their hair cut or hair color was performed in a carbon-neutral way without contributing to Global Warming,” states Shane Price, Founder and CEO of Green Circle Salons.
