Portland Trail Blazers vs. Brooklyn Nets

In August 2025, we visited the Portland International Airport, known as PDX, in Portland, Oregon. We were taking an Allegient Airlines direct flight from Portland, Oregon to Provo, Utah. The PDX airport was clean and well-maintained, and there are clever and colorful displays and artwork, and many commercial stores. All of the airplane on-boarding processes, from the off-site long-time term parking to boarding the Allegiant Airbus 320 airplane, happened as expected and without any problems or issues. The TSA offered people to go to the other security check-in side, which had smaller lines, and this was helpful. It was great to see the mighty Columbia River, Mount Hood, and the transition from Oregon Green Forest to Oregon Desert from the airplane. Visiting Portland International Airport was an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Best airport that I have visited. Great local shops, restaurants, and bars. Doesn’t even feel like you are in an airport. Fast modern TSA Security. Baggage claim is always quick and easy. Light rail to downtown and beyond.

This airport may be smaller than many others in the U.S., but it’s incredibly charming. The woodwork on the ceiling is stunning, and honestly it is my favorite feature of the entire place. Some terminals even have live music, which makes the atmosphere so much more enjoyable. There’s a good variety of shops and restaurants to choose from. Security lines can get long, so having TSA PreCheck is a big plus. Overall, this is one of the best airports I’ve ever been to.

Shiny and new but allow extra time. Recently expanded four concourses in an H-shaped spider layout with long corridors but still only one entrance so allow extra time for walking. Great features that are both functional and beautiful. Real live trees for ambience and locally sourced products so save room in your carry-on bag. Lots of amenities and choices of food and drink. Friendly staff and well organized.

Best airport experience! Security line was super quick and agents were actually friendly! The first business outside of security was a bookstore... my kind of place. Terminals offered lots of dining and shopping options. Makes me want to fly to Portland more often (as if I didn't have enough reasons already!)
