in the last weekBest airport that I have visited. Great local shops, restaurants, and bars. Doesn’t even feel like you are in an airport. Fast modern TSA Security. Baggage claim is always quick and easy. Light rail to downtown and beyond.

2 weeks agoConsecutively named one of America’s best airports… for a reason. It’s clean, well designed, and full of character. The airport does a great job introducing brands from Portland local area and the selections are nice. Parking is a breeze and so is mass transit. Overall, nice airport but I wished there were more international flights

3 months agoPortland International Airport is definitely a big facility, and I sense there is much more to come in the future. The airport is made up of the terminal, following B, C, D, and E concourses. If you have a tight connection, or you’re planning to leave a bit later for your flight, plan ahead! The airport requires a lot of walking, and typically it takes 10 minutes to get from the central terminal to any other concourses. That being said, the airport still offers great amenities, such as tons of seating, duty free zones, restaurants, and even a mini movie theatre in the B concourse. You really can’t go wrong if you fly into Portland!

2 months agoGorgeous airport! Worth a trip to Portland just to see this airport! Makes flying so much less awful to wait in beautiful surroundings. Spacious and well lit. Comfort control. Here's a tip: if TSA has a long line go to the other side, all concourses are accessible from both sides. Also, this is very cool but all the local shops here charge the same price as their shops outside the airport! And there's a big selection!

a month agoWear your walking shoes! PDX is pretty large and there is quite a long distance between the parking garage and the security check point. Visited this airport many times and have never experienced major issues. After the remodel, the airport is stunning and easier to access. Long/short term parking is easy and renting a car is pretty simple, although sometimes there can be a bit of a wait. Dropping off the rental car was faster than I predicted which was nice. The security line(s) move pretty quickly depending on the time of day/year. There are two security lines to choose from and there’s even an electric sign displaying the wait time for both. On one occasion, I missed my flight due to a very long check-in line. I went to the help desk and they were quick to find me a new flight only a couple hours later. If you are checking a bag, plan to arrive 1.5-2 hours before your boarding time, just in case. There are so many restaurants and cool PNW shops inside the airport, so if you arrive too early, there’s plenty to do and see. There’s even a small movie theater showing movies for free!
