Since Erykah Badu burst on the scene in 1997, the Dallas based (and Texas proud) artist has released 5 studio albums, countless singles and EPs, and has toured the world many times over. Since her debut, Baduizm went multi-platinum, winning her two Grammys for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Album. All of Erykah?s studio albums have debuted within the Top 15 of the Billboard album charts, with 4 of them debuting within the top 4. She has released 10 Top 10 singles on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart, including 3 #1s. In 2000, she won another Grammy (Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group) for ?You Got Me,? alongside The Roots. In 2003, she was awarded the Grammy for Best R&B single for her song ?Love Of My Life (An Ode to Hip Hop).? Badu?s artistic and spiritual contributions to humanity earned her an honorary Doctorate degree in Humanities from Paul Quinn College in 2000.

a month agoI brought my son to his very first blazer game for his 11th birthday! We arrived around 5:45 and found the garden garage parking easily. We bought our food and found our seats.Of course the food was over priced but that's usually the case for events. We all had a great time and will be back for for another event! My son had a great birthday.

a month agoParking sucked. I paid in advance and waited longer to get parking than those who were paying at the gate. I thought 1/2 hour early should be enough. We were 45 minutes late for the show. Monster jam was 5 stars all the way! The drivers were all super friendly!

a month agoBeautiful venue. Great sound and excellent ventilation. Parking was completely on opposite side of where our seats were. Restroom’s clean, no lines. Need feminine products in restrooms, not outside bathrooms!

a month agoExcellent venue for both sporting events and concerts! Great concession options, comfortable seats with unobstructed views (rows are elevated enough that even mini humans like me can see over the people in the row ahead of me) and very friendly admission staff. I attend 4-8 events per year and have never been disappointed (with the venue - it's always disappointing when the Blazers lose...)

a month agoThis was my first time going to the Moda Center. My family and I went here on a Sunday to watch the Portland Trailblazers. We got our tickets through a non-profit called VetTix. They supply tickets to event like this for military veterans, active duty, and first responders. It was super quick getting into the arena. Less than 5 minutes from the time they opened the doors. The concourse on the main level was well laid out with lots of food and drink options. I was overly surprised at the number of restrooms throughout the arena. I have been to a few other venues where you have to go on a hunt for one. We were on the 300 level and still had a good view. The prices for food and drink were average for most sporting events.
